Travel Gear We Use and Love
If I recommend something to you, I either use it myself or know someone who has used it almost all of the time. Here’s what we use to make travel easier from travel luggage and essentials, travel technology, travel clothes and accessories, travel guides and more. Most of these links are my own affiliate links, meaning I will earn a small income when you buy through my unique link. Thank you!
Travel Luggage & Essentials
Eddie Bauer rolling duffel bags are a big hit. We love them! They come in a variety of sizes. And don’t forget to pack your luggage scale to make sure all the goodies you bought on your travels will fit.
Our favorite packing cubes are from Eagle Creek. They have extra compression, are durable, water resistant and made from a brand we love.
Top Technology for Travel
I discovered these useful Olloclip clip on photo lenses (see below) about a year ago, and love that they extend what I can do with my iPhone. I carry them in a small clip hanging from my day pack or purse, and now I carry them everywhere, all the time, not even just when traveling. I can add wide angle, close-up, and fish-eye lens effects with just a quick snap-on of the lens.
This is the perfect solution for the iPhone and Samsung Galaxy and the best attachable lens on the market! Be sure to check out the reviews on their site.

Travel Clothes & Accessories
Be sure to always take a pair of sunglasses or a few on your travels. We recommend oversized Aviator sunglasses and any with polarized UV protection. Here are a few other travel sunglasses we recommend.
Should you be traveling somewhere with cool weather and potential rain, you’ll want to make sure you take along a water-proof lightweight jacket. If it’s going to be really cold, add sweaters, boots, a heavy jacket, scarf & hat.
